 The Fresno Fire Department has its first beginnings back in the day of all wood buildings, extremely volatile gas and kerosene lighting and wood-burning stoves. Fire is a great servant when it is controlled, but when it is uncontrolled, fire can be a very hostile, indiscriminate and overwhelmingly destructive force. With over 130 years of service and history, one of the oldest and most respected fire departments in the country has a story to tell…The goal of the documentary is to educate and inspire the audience by producing a very high quality film documentary of the over 130 year, rich history of the Fresno Fire Department.
